Being part of the team means more than just performing—it’s about discipline, teamwork, and personal growth. We train hard, push limits, and support each other every step of the way.
Who Can Join?
Our competition team is open to dancers ages 6 and up who demonstrate strong technical ability, commitment, and a positive attitude. Placement is determined by an audition process to ensure that dancers are grouped at appropriate levels for growth and success.

Expectations & Commitment
Our competition team is for dancers who are ready to train hard, perform fiercely, and grow as both artists and athletes. Whether you’re new to the competition world or a seasoned performer, here’s what you need to know before joining.
Commitment – Year-round training, weekly rehearsals, and 3 regional competitions with potential nationals. Attendance is key.
Financials – Monthly tuition, competition entry fees, costumes, team gear (jackets, warm-ups, bags, etc.) and travel costs. Fundraising options may be available.
Rehearsals – Mandatory classes + additional weekend rehearsals. Limited absences allowed.
Dancer Expectations – Attitude matters as much as talent! We want dancers who love what they do and bring their best every time they step into the studio. Show up prepared, work hard, support your team, and represent Flex with professionalism.
Competitions – Full-day events requiring commitment, team spirit, and adherence to hair, makeup, and costume guidelines.
